Rohit Jain (1978 - ) is a freelance photographer from New Delhi, India. He chose to work on human rights photography for the betterment of the society. A Bachelor in Commerce graduate, he did a short-term course in Archives Management from the National Archives of India. Some of his remarkable photo stories on human rights issues are, People of Nowhere – a photo story on the survival of Burmese refugees in New Delhi, End the War – depicts the grave necessity of peaceful settlement for the refugees from Somalia in New Delhi, and their cravings for returning to their mother land.
His recent work is about the survival of schedule caste community in a specific village of the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.
Besides, he has done a commercial photo shoot for the website of Delhi based company Business System India Ltd. and a catalogue shoot for an Interior design company Swift pro.
